I am pretty obsessed with making sure that everything I spend money on is ethical and sustainable. I always promote buying secondhand, aka thrifting and gifting. The most sustainable option is to upcycle and reuse what already exists.

I count things as eco-friendly and sustainable gifts if they do the following:
- 🌱 Use natural, organic, or recycled materials
- ♻️ Create positive impact: they use regenerative growing methods, plant trees for each purchase, donate to environmental causes, etc.
- ❣️ Use ethical and fair labor standards
- 🙌 Help you reduce your consumption or impact: reusable, replaces a single use item, etc.
- 💨 Reduce carbon emissions in production or shipping
